Who, What, and Why….
I have lived in Milton for 28 years, and I enjoy digging into subjects and presenting information.
To match words against actions and to present the facts is why this website exists. Maybe I expect too much, but I think expecting those in power to be consistent in word and action and holding them accountable when they aren’t, is good for democracy.
I listened to the Mayor salary discussions and submitted comments at most of the meetings. At the end of October, 2020 I submitted a series of public record requests, and they were completed by January, 2021. It took several months to wade through the 1,200+ pages and match the documents against statements made at meetings.
Any redaction done to the documents was done by the city, not me. I don’t agree with their decision to redact “attorney work product” for the mayor salary discussion, but that was their decision to make.
